Teresa Giudice risks possible jail time for ticket drama

Teresa Giudice may be facing more time behind bars.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 44, failed to report two traffic tickets, violating the terms of her 24-month supervised release for her fraud conviction, TMZ reports.

Giudice, who served 12 months in prison after being convicted of fraud, made an illegal turn in 2016 and was cited last month for using her phone while driving – and did not make her probation officer aware of either ticket.

According to TMZ, the reality star/cookbook author and her lawyer were warned that any contact with law enforcement had to be reported. The tickets will serve as her last written warning, and she’ll be forced into court again should she fail to report activity for a third time.

James Leonard Jr., Giudice’s attorney, told the gossip site that the star did report both tickets, but not within the required time frame.

“Both she and I have spoken to her officer and understand exactly what is required should she have any future contact with law enforcement, which we do not anticipate will happen,” he said.

As “RHONJ” gets ready to return for a season eight, Giudice’s husband Joe is currently locked up in Fort Dix, N.J. in the midst of his own 36-month prison term, which began last March.

Giudice, who has four daughters with Joe, detailed her stint in the big house with a tell-all book she released in January 2016 called “Turning The Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again.” She was released from prison in December 2015.
