The clip released by the state’s run KRT television network shows the North Korean despot laughing with his closest military officials and enjoying the nation’s annual air combat contest.
The show encompassed a variety of destructive combat training and war games, which created huge explosions across an air field.
According to experts in South Korea, they included the Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot, MiG-29, MiG-23, MiG-21, and MiG-15 jet fighters.
Applauding the air force, the state’s news agency said the soldiers sophisticatedly destroyed “all targets, including enemy aircraft carriers”.
Days before the show, North Korean aircrafts were seen holding mock attacks, during which the military were trying to destroy other carriers in a “single blow”.
The huge drill was confirmed by South Korea, which described the exercise as a “large-scale firing drill”.
The South Korean military said it was monitoring the situation and “firmly maintaining readiness”.
