Broncos draft pick DeMarcus Walker sees snow for first time

Snow, meet Bronco. Bronco, meet snow.

For DeMarcus Walker, it may take some getting used to.

Walker, who was drafted by the Denver Broncos Friday with the No. 51 overall pick, is a defensive end from Florida State. Needless to say the change is a bit drastic.

But couple Walker’s college career in the sun with growing up and Jacksonville, and you get a player who has never seen snow before. That changed Saturday when the team introduced Walker at the team’s headquarters, as the new draftee was introduced to the new form of precipitation.

His first impression?

“It’s cold!”

That it is. Good thing the rookie will have plenty of time to get used to the weather next year.
